However, I have seen other pictures of the kids sitting on this same wall, in the same clothes, looking similarly miserable. But wait! Look at Rhea. Smiling away. Good for you, sweetheart. Why are these children unhappy?

I so love this photograph of these beautiful cousins all gathered together - smiles or not - it is a classic Whitham family image and tradition. How wonderful that these lovely children all grew together in so much love and care. Memories of Kyle nestled deeply in each one of them. What treasure.
