Women for Obama

well i'm off to Pauley Pavillion at UCLA where Michelle Obama, Caroline Kennedy, and Oprah Winfrey will speak at a GOTV rally. not sure if i'll get in but at least i have a parking pass and know the campus.

of course i should be working (sorry, Hayden) but we're trying to make history here.

Just listened to Maria Shriver on CSPAN (you must have seen her speak today, too!) She was so powerful.passionate. inspiring. I made Liv sit with me and listen. We're making history is right and I want my 7 year old to experience it with us. As Liv says, "Girls Rock!"

Barack's almost neck and neck with Clinton in california. oh the possibilities . . .

Isn't it exciting, Alicia?

I was interested to see her choice in changing campaign managers at this time. I wonder from which direction the new spin and sound bites will emerge from the Clinton political machine.

CAN you believe it? First Super Tuesday, then Maine (Yea Ted for caucusing for Obama)on Sunday, yesterday DC, MD, & Va. I'm so jazzed. And you folks should see my great long sleeved purple t-shirt with a picture of Barack that says (with a salute to James Brown) "He's black and I'm proud!" --another Obama Mama.

For those of you who are good on the phone, Obama needs phone callers for upcoming primaries, to identify supporters and get out the vote. You can do it from headquarters or from home using an online list of registered democrats. Call your local Obama for America office for more information. Michael and I are so "fired up," we spent 10 hours on super Tuesday holding a "Vote Obama" sign on a freeway onramp in downtown Oakland. If the election had been held on that corner, he would have won by a landslide. I can't ever remember being so proud of America-We are who we've been waiting for!!!
